Manufacturing Process
Using a mix of selected aggregates, cement, additives and where required colouring pigments, to produce a dense product with a high quality surface finish.
The mix is poured into individual moulds and vibrated using a table vibrator or external vibration to achieve the required finish. The product is then transported into a curing shed for a minimum of 14 days.
Appearance as supplied
Dense close texture with option of secondary finishes.
Palletising
All units are palletised, packed out using jiffy foam and shrink-wrapped to minimise movement, eliminating damage.
Reinforcement
All units, where deemed necessary, are manufactured with high tensile bar. Galvanised and stainless steel bar to order.
Compression strength
Average crushing strength of cubes tested 35mpa
All units manufactured comply with BS 1881-111,114,116 Specification.
